Pecs, Hungary serves as the site for the 10th International Congress of Biorheology - 2nd International Conference on Clinical Hemorheology. Giles Cokelet receives the Poiseuille Gold Medal.
2002
The 11th International Congress of Biorheology - 3rd International Conference on Clinical Hemorheology takes place at the Adora Resort on the Meditteranean coast of Turkey near Antalya, September 22 - 26. Shu Chien became the 13th recipient of the Poiseuille Gold Medal.
2005
The Society bestows the Poiseuille Gold Medal on Yukihide Isogai at the 12th International Congress of Biorheology, held at Chongqing, China with the International Society of Clinical Hemorheology.
2008
Continuing the trend of recent years, the 13th International
Congress was a joint meeting held with the International Society of
Clinical Hemorheology on the campus of Penn State University. Herb
Meiselman was honored with the Poiseuille God Medal for his many
contributions to the field.
2011
Scenic Koc
University in the hills overlooking Istanbul served as the site of
the 14th International Congress of Biorheology-6th International
Conference on Clinical Hemorheology. The 16th Poiseuille Gold
Medalist was Herb Lipowsky.
