The crown jewel of our lab, this high performance computing cluster is comprised of 16 Sun Ultra Sparc IIe processors. Each processor has 500 MHz speed, 256 KB of cache, and 128 MB of memory. The communication between the processors is 100 Mb/s. We use a Sun Forte 6.0 compiler and Sun ClusterTools MPI. |
